This was sad. Supposedly drowning is very peaceful once you have lost all hope and don’t have a breath I’d assume. Some people are deathly afraid of water. I was doing flips under water in a lake as a kid and when I tried to come up my brother sunk me back under. I had already let my breath out and panicked. I started swimming as hard as I could to get clear of him and surface to breathe. I was dizzy af from doing flips and was swimming down instead of up until my head hit mud at the bottom of the lake. It was only around 6-7ft deep, but I just knew I was fucked. I managed to get back to the surface and swim out but no part of that experience was peaceful. It hurt like hell fighting the urge to breathe in under water. I was never taught to swim I just figured it out at a very young age from being salty about having to stay in the shallow end of pools. To this day if some one puts their weight on me in water I will use their head to push off with my feet and get tf away. My brother had dunked me until I freaked out several times but not as bad as this time. I honestly don’t give af about water I don’t even drink the shit. If you have kids you should def make sure swimming is a life skill they have.
