Jumping into a still surface of water after a certain height is like jumping into a concrete pavement, the water tension combined with the velocity is more than enough to shatter bones and cause internal injuries. There is an urban legend about throwing a hammer just before jumping in order to break the water surface but mythbusters tried and the test dummy still 'died'. In order to survive from such a fall you need to throw something large and heavy enough to sufficiently break the water surface before you hit the water.

Anyone knows what happened to him? He was swimming around for a fair bit before sinking beneath the depths.

Internal injuries perhaps (lung implosion, blunt force trauma to cause a major bleed in your vital organs?). I legitimately think not even a professional diver could land this perfectly enough to not have the water counteract your incoming force and kill you.

or it could be his body in shock i heard that that happens some time like this one old dude jumped in a pool in winter and straight up had a heart attack but i don't acutely no

I guess every jump is different, but I've survived higher jumps in less clothing. Just interjecting the possibility that he may have hit something in the water, but having your knees blast your head is never a good thing especially when you must float to survive. Sad death, hope his family finds peace.

He was probably in agony dying, struggling to stay afloat, as opposed to swimming. His internal organs were probably mush.

This is why I don’t have any friends. I prefer to convulse in water without an audience laughing at me

He initially blacked out from connecting with the surface. He may have smushed his face against his knee. He comes to but with water in the lungs AND concussed at best or many other issues we can only speculate.

I wonder how high this is, I've jumped from a Boulder on a cliff and it was 65ft and easily sends you to the bottom of the 20ft lake. One limb out of place and you pay tho.
