I believe he was the "electrician". He's geared out and looks like using a rope to move the wire as you see a connector end.

It falls wrong. He jumps away. Gets his pliers and tried pulling on the rope previously thrown.

Opps.

The wire whips toward his ankles, takes him down, now his left hand had made contact with the end of the wire (that bulk piece) and the WORST scenario now happens, across the heart flow.
