everyone here talking about how they’re “fearless” but the reality is when a guy walks up and pops a guy in the back of the head and shoots into the building you can either stay still or run. now them being old, they wouldn’t be able to run very fast and running could also make them a target. common sense tells them to stay still until the shooters leave for their best chance of survival.

Yes, running may make the shooter assume they are accomplices with whoever he was targeting. I'm sure they've seen this before and they're just avoiding trouble by being obvious that they have no reason to be targeted
