iirc in one period of roman law, the perpetrator of particularly heinous homicides would be handed over to the victim's family for them to exact whatever justice they felt appropriate. stab em, drown em, enslave em to a philosopher who professes morals, it was dealer's choice. naturally the state would only do so after a trial and (to the romans) all guilt was proven beyond a reasonable doubt. it's only a romantic thought, but something like that feels like an appropriate middle-ground between impulsive mob justice and the often completely slackjawed punishments the state doles out.
can't say with certainty that i'd think like this if push came to shove, but being punished by your victims' kin in any manner possible is to me a lot scarier than a clinical execution by the state. then again that's just me, a non-crim, fear of repercussion isn't exactly part of the equation for most people who would end up in such a position.

Aftermath videos are always suspect. Even vids with titles like 'Robber gets burned' or whatever. For lots of the videos posted here we never really know what we're looking at. I mean yeh the guys in the first clip. Fuck them. But then we see a bunch of other dudes get beat and or killed by different groups of people. Is any of it related? We'll never know. Even the last one where they put the dogs body on the two guys. I feel similar to you but I tend to watch mob justice videos because I like to watch the mob. Mobs are interesting, there are not as many violent offenders as one would think. Many of the people are just watching and sometimes you see people genuinely distraught at what is going on.

You can see the bag starting at around 1.46. They make him take out his phone and money and put it by the bag a bit later. You never see what's in the bag but it looks hella sus. Looks like the kind of bag you would put a dead dog in to sell it.
I think the dogs are skinned first before sale. The quality is kinda bad but the dogs head is the same color as the one taken in the beginning while it's body is white. One can only hope they did it after death. Since dog killers are retarded they probably did wait but the best furs come off of animals while they are still alive. One of the reasons I will never own fur.
