According to what I know, the president of Ukraine allowed troops to stay in schools and hospitals. While schools and hospitals are considered safe zones that can not be targets of attack, the moment you allow troops in, that guarantee is null and void. the president of Ukraine knowingly permitted troops to take shelter in this locations, allowing for them to be placed under attack.
With this in mind, Im not saying its okay to attack these places regardless, but, when you do something stupid, expect a stupid result.

I don’t know how to break it to you pal but ‘war crime’ is a term that was explicitly brought into existence to justify the execution and imprisonment of a defeated military officer class in the peace that follows. Not saying that’s bad, but that is what war crime tribunals were designed for. Ironically, the suggestion that a foreign power is committing war crimes or is eminently going to do so can itself be a motivation for military intervention.

Yep, that's precisely what's happening to Ukraine. They decided to listen to the soothsayers in the US State Department under the Obama Administration telling them to overthrow the democratically elected president of Ukraine (who was from the Donbass) and then create a Ukrainian nationalist ethnostate. The problem is that there are quite literally MILLIONS of Russian Ukrainians (mostly from the Donbass) who decided they didn't want to be 2nd class citizens of Ukraine, and rose up in rebellion.
All of Ukraine's problems can be traced right back to the 2014 coup. That's when the Donbass and Crimea seceded from Ukraine and the civil war began. Ukraine twice attempted to invade and conquer the Donbas and were repelled both times by the militias with unofficial Russian support. Russia is now ENDING Ukraine's pointless 8 year war.

How much brain rot is required for a person to actually believe that Russia is bombing THEIR OWN prisons, including their own prison guards, for...what purpose? What would a false flag even do for Russia in this particular case? If they wanted to execute the Azov Nazis, they could simply do that. The idea that Russia would inexplicably drop a missile on their own prison where they were actively interrogating and milking the prisoners for information about previous war crimes makes zero sense. The funny thing about these idiotic stories is that they don't even have to make sense because the morons who believe them aren't intelligent enough to question it.

This is 6yo. Thats kinda why russian invade. Neo nazy militia in ukraine slaughtered ukrainian russian-native and literally nobody cared.
Im 100% ukrainian side in this war but my gf is from russian ancestry and her family live in an ex-ussr country. They faced casual racism and hastred while still being fully integrated and it's not even the worst country. (A Baltic country). I met many ukrainian while living in slovakia and i wouldnt call them the most progressive people.
