it looks like he might have been tied up with something like wire.
his left wrist has struggling wounds from something tight around it. also his hands are closed in a a way to be holding on to that rope or wire, and the blood was dripping down the wrist and dripping off the forearm.
from that position his arms are in looks to have been tied up between 2 head board posts? foot bed post?
the white bucket under the bed has a ton of blood in it. all this blood can't be from him?

He died by suicide. Cut the arteries in his thighs and then laid head down on his bed with his knees on the floor. The upper lip being pulled up is likely from when his face was dragged down across the bed
