Man, I'm from Brazil and I can tell you for sure that what you see on these sites is not real life. 99% of the videos you see here that are from Brazil are either in the favelas of huge cities or in small towns run by criminal factions. Generally they are from São Paulo/Rio de Janeiro or some remote place in the north or northeast, which are poorer regions with terrible living conditions.
Here in my city for example, the last time we had a firearm murder was about 10 years ago hahahaha People from big cities, mainly from São Paulo, retire and come to live here in my city or in two others here in the region, because this area, in addition to being very low crime, you can have a great living condition because everything is cheap, we have less noise and visual pollution and everything is well wooded. Speaking like that, it doesn't even seem like I'm talking about a place in Brazil, right? hahahaha But it is.

For my privacy, I won't say where I literally live hahaha But just visit any inner city on the state of São Paulo, especially if it borders the state of Minas Gerais. You can't go wrong, we don't have the diversity that big cities have in terms of fancy restaurants or stores, or a huge nightlife, but if you like nature and "slower" places, you'll be very pleased.
The south of Brazil is also a great place, it is cooler and has a big Dutch/German influence.

Looking at São João da Boa Vista with Google Street View right now. Looks clean and empty. No dead people in the street. I used to wonder what people's lives where like in other places. Now I know they all hang out on WPD.

Because they shot your mans? There’s a lot of violence in these places, but that isn’t all they are. This website gives you a warped view on things, since you only see all of the most negative shit that’s happening. If my only knowledge of the US was articles about mass shootings and race riots I’d think you’d be risking your life every time you walked out the door, which is something I’ve actually seen ignorant Europeans say.
