guy executed with a .22 lr (myanmar)

.22 might not seem like much, but the rounds can be very deadly since they bounce around inside the body.

I know what you mean, but think of it like this: by the time the camera is turned on for the execution, a lot of these victims have been held for at least a few hours, if not days or even longer.

I imagine all of the hysterical pleading and begging happens shortly after the kidnapping. They offer anything they think their captors might want, and they keep trying to find a way out of the situation. They might be beaten for talking, or they might realize after spending 5 hours screaming "I have a child! Please, have mercy, don't do this!" isn't helping them, and they shut up.

Then, they end up in this subdued state that so many people in execution videos are. They're exhausted, they're emotionally burned out, they're terrified, they know what's coming- the hysterics come and go in the beginning of these murders. They seem zombified, almost, dead-eye staring into the distance when the camera comes on for execution time. They've given up, they've tried everything and they're still about to have their head sawed off or w/e. At that point, I think most male victims decide "Welp, might as well die with a brave face".

As for attempting to flee, I think the victims believe that if they try to flee, their captors will make their deaths more painful and drawn out. I'm not so sure this is accurate in all situations, but that's what they're probably thinking- "If I get up and run, they'll shoot me in the back or something and then maybe they'll just leave me in agony to bleed out... maybe I'll just go along with this and let them shoot me in the head so this is all over with."

Haven't the 22LR bouncing myth been debunked over and over again? It's a deadly caliber, but not not because it bounces since it doesn't.

The fuk..run nigga its a fukin 22lr he cant even fire it that fast, that shts like under a quarter inch in diameter it doesnt even expand but they can ricochet if it hits bone, regardless if anyones ever in this situation just run, these arent effective in neutralizing a human at all shts so weak even surgeons consider the wound a puncture wound id wager its anywhere from 5 to 10 times less lethal than a 9mm

A .22lr can absolutely be lethal. Heres a video that better showcases its ballistics:

if he runs, he will get a much worse fate than just a click-bang. They would prob torture him.

22. is very nearly the same caliber as an M4/M16(223.) except for a lot less powder and a fractionally smaller diameter

No way that's a real .22lr that must be an air/pellet rifle. They seem to ask him to “look up/look over here” to shoot through his eye or whatever, and it doesn't really sound like a projectile breaking the sound barrier like a .22 out of a 16” would
