I am curious what would be the best course of action in this situation, plugging your ears?

Covering them?

Blow ear drum outward (like what divers do)?

Jump in the discussion.

No email address required.

  1. quickly release your breath. (So that when the shockwave reaches you a big amount of wind comes to your automatically comes to your nose)

  2. cover your ears as hard as you can (So that you wont be deaf)

3.get to the ground lay down and cover your body and head with your hands ( so that it can protect any falling objects)

4.divers need to get deep in the water (So that the shockwave slowly comes and finally hits you, than come back up!)

Ok wow this has to be on of the most incredible angles I’ve ever seen of this explosion. Like look at the smoke clouds as the pressure wave passes in front of them. I have never seen an pressure wave in air alone distort light that fucking far along a width as wide as this. Damn.
