How can we not be sure he was beating her inside the apartment, and she went onto the balcony trying to get away?

Because it sounds like and looks a bit like he hit her at about 18 seconds.

It looks like she was just trying to get away, and fell by accident.

Or perhaps she was kidnapping victim and she was actually trying to get into that room below and he messed her up by grabbing at her.

I highly doubt this is a suicide. You can tell she's trying to get away from him, plus he doesn't give a fuck. If he didn't want her to jump he could've just picked her up and carried her inside, it's not that hard.

She was high on drugs. If she was just trying to get away from him, she would have remained in the lower floor apartment when she entered, but she came back out again. Then she tries to walk on the wall or something and fall. She seemed confused in addition to everything else.
