No, the year isn't confirmed. so we gather around every year as a community in hopes to welcome him. It's a very peaceful tradition. we dance, hear each others problems, come to solutions, eat/drink, arrange marriages. it's a very positive experience. religion is more about community. I dont think people really take the backstory seriously anymore, although they wont talk about their disbelief. it's more about forming a community.
