"Russia, A man has tragically died after falling off an escalator and landing on an unsuspecting pensioner. CCTV footage from a shopping mall captured the accident on camera and shows the 54-year-old man stepping on the escalator before taking a tumble over the handrail. As he plunges to the floor, the man lands on the head of another shopper, thought to be 74-years-old. Both men then fall to the ground and lie motionless as panicked onlookers rush over to help them. The 54-year-old man died of his injuries, but it is believed that the 74-year-old he landed on survived with a fractured collarbone."

A video recording was published on the network that captures an accident that occurred the day before in the Kazan shopping center « Bachetle ». A 54-year-old man, trying to go down the escalator, lost his balance and fell from the height of the third floor to a 63-year-old visitor of the center.
As a result of bodily harm, the first man died on the spot, the second — is hospitalized with head injuries. On this fact, in the Novo-Savinovsky department for the city of Kazan, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Tatarstan, a preliminary check has been launched.
According to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation on RT, measures are currently being taken to establish all the circumstances of the incident. As part of the audit of the death of a man, a legal assessment will be given to the actions of officials responsible for ensuring security in the shopping center. Based on the results of the audit, a procedural decision will be made.
