Police explained that the accused Sushma Bharadwaj had also tried to kill herself after throwing her child, but was rescued by neighbours.

Sushma's arrest came following a complaint against her by her husband Kiran.

The couple resided on the fourth floor of the Advaith Ashraya apartment in CKC Garden.

CCTV footage of the incident shows the accused walking in the balcony with her daughter and then throwing her down.

Previously, Sushma had tried to abandon her daughter at a railway station. Upon learning of it, Kiran immediately rushed to the station and found their daughter, the police said.

A Turkish man was celebrating his birthday on January 1st, 2018, when a picture gone wrong resulted in him falling off a cliff to his death.

39 year-old father of eight Halil Dağ was visiting the historic Urfa Castle in southern Türkiye (yes, Turkey changed their name to Türkiye) with his friends, when it was decided that one of his friends should take a photo of him jumping off a ledge, which was approximately six feet/1.8m tall. Allegedly, he had to cross over a barbed wire fence in order to get to the location of the ledge.

When he landed, he fell sideways and rolled off the cliffside, to the obvious horror of his friends. He fell a total of 150 feet/50m before hitting the ground, landing near a Kurdish restaurant as shown in the CCTV footage. He was taken to the Balikligol State Hospital, where he died. His body was laid to rest at the Abdurrahman Dede Cemetery.

Him and a few other pallbearers were trying to move the coffin to the top of a Lakkian, which is a specially carved tower for holding dead bodies before the funeral rites.

When they made it to the top, the ladder they were using, which was constructed out of bamboo, suddenly slid, causing almost all of the pallbearers, including Samen, to fall. The coffin followed, landing directly on him. He would later die of his injuries at a hospital.

According to Julianto Siriat, the Chief Police Commissioner of Toraja District where the incident took place, the ladder fell because it was not properly reinforced. Despite this, the family of Samen declined to press charges against anyone. His body was later laid to rest beside that of his Mother's.
