ALBANY NY— A restaurant co-owner is hospitalized with a head injury and a city resident sits in jail facing multiple charges including a hate crime as a result of a confrontation Wednesday evening outside a Madison Avenue sushi bar. A patron allegedly refused to pay for a $400 order and began fighting with staff members on the sidewalk, knocking out the victim with a single punch, according to police
He remained unconscious in serious condition in the intensive-care unit as of midday Friday following surgery for a head injury.
