i dont understand .. not sure because i am stupid or because it is not understandable .. people set themselves on fire and then they ran like maniacs trying to set off the fire .. why?? if you dont like being burnt alive so why you do it in the first place?

Just like that US airman, he would rather set himself on fire instead of spending a day or 2 googling the opposite side of what he think it righteous.

Unlike most however, that U.S. Airman did it out of protest and didn't flail around trying to put the fire out right after.
There is a fine line between setting yourself on fire because you're an idiot and setting yourself on fire in an act of protest for what you believe in.
