CHILD WARNING (Child Warning) 5 yo girl shot by police officer, who was beaten to death after protests (Cameroon) + backstory

Case was covered in news in October 2021 (e.g. here https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/oct/14/cameroon-urges-calm-after-policeman-kills-schoolgirl-in-anglophone-region and here https://www.reuters.com/world/africa/anger-boils-over-cameroon-region-after-gendarme-kills-5-year-old-2021-10-14/). Video may load a bit longer (above 6 minutes).

On 14th of October, quoting The Guardian,

woman driving children to school was ordered by police to stop at a checkpoint.

“The driver didn’t obey. A gendarme opened fire and a schoolgirl was fatally wounded,” he said. “People responded by lynching the gendarme. More than 500 people came out and marched with the body [of the girl] to the governor’s office. He tried to calm people down by promising to punish” those responsible.

Victim was Caro Louise Ndialle, around 5 yo girl (one source claimed 4 yo). News say funeral took place the same day on Catholic cemetery. Incident happened in Buea (Southwest region's capital), which is a hotspot city in region which for previous 4 years was a place of conflict between anglophone separatists and government forces in the French-majority nation. That made some political significance, as people apparently didn't get 'calm down' by officials calling it 'sad and unfortunate incident'.

Some timestamps:

Beginning: girl when alive and dead in car.

1:49: girl body shown, then crowd gathering around.

2:08: WTF moment with naked woman checking the body.

Then the protests/march beginning.

3:08: photos, then start of officer's lynch part. Around 4:00 parts with the beating begin, but there's no any especially brutal moment there.

CCGMI stands for Commandement Central des Groupements Mobiles d'Intervention.

Why did they put her body to the ground with her skirt raised...? Couldn't they at least put the skirt back on her panty ?

She has her underwear on, though, isn't naked waist-down. I doubt that people gathering to mourn or protest were wondering about WTF can some folks online think about an underwear of the dead 5 yo with skull splashed open. It's not a first time someone mentions it here, though. This is just a short part from these few minutes. Weirdly enough, no one cared e.g. about children in photos or videos in Beslan school siege post (https://watchpeopledie.tv/h/combat/post/20329/cw-beslan-school-siege-52-hours), and it's not the first time some comment or report reminds me of this Cameroonian girl :marseyflushzoom:

Yeah I know she's not naked, I just feel like it's a weird thing to do, to put her down with her skirt raised so we see her panty. Like, she's dead anyway, you won't hurt her by moving her a little bit so her skirt can hide it. May be a cultural thing, but here if someone was dead (no matter if it's a kid or an adult) and their private parts or underwear were showing, the least you could do would be to cover it, out of respect. Honestly, the fact she's a kid isn't what's bugging me here, I would've thought it was equally weird if she had been a grown woman, or if she had been a guy whose pants had fell down to his knees.

I watched the videos about the Belsan school siege, and yeah it's not nearly as shocking because 1. these kids weren't wearing clothes in the first place, it's not like it's a skirt that could be easily put down, it's just that there's no other clothes on their body to hide their underwear, and 2. they were being treated by medical staff, it was more important to make sure they were alright than cover their underwear, unlike that little cameroonian girl who was dead anyway and didn't require any urgent/medical care anymore.
