Eyewitnesses recorded how the young man decided to put on a show and began to anger the predator. While the guests were filming the spectacle on their smartphone cameras, the man stuck his hand into the cage several times, ignoring the angry roar of the beast. The caretaker continued to play with the lion, for which he paid with his finger.

It was his right ring finger. You can see if you slow it down to .25 playback. It degloved the finger in addition to tearing out what appears to be the tendon. Unfortunately, he can only do this nine more times for his guests.
