The gun was very hard to see but that may have been a tokarev those mean Soviet bastards shoot 7.62x25 that’s a hot ass pistol cartridge. There’s a likelihood the cheap armor gave out but would’ve stopped a more reasonable threat. This plate is probably around level IIa at best and slowed the round down enough not to kill him or seriously wound him but if that is a tokarev thats a trial by fire for soft armor. IIIa should stop it but I never like super high velocity rounds hitting vests you’re asking for a failure.
