How do we know he is deranged? Is it because he has chosen to end his life?
Perhaps he just lost his wife and kids in an accident. Maybe he is now bankrupt and will be unable to sustain himself or his family.
The desire to live in man isn’t automatic. It presupposes certain values. Without them there’s nothing “deranged” about choosing death instead.
What would be deranged would be someone continuing to live not for one’s sake and happiness but for the happiness and sake of others.
He might be cray, but we don’t know that just because he is killing himself.

I disagree. I think suicide is a perfectly rational response to many situations and think that many times people are better off after having succeeded.
There are places, for example, one may travel to in order to legally have an assisted suicide performed if one has a terminal illness, etc.
Was this guy a little nuts? Maybe. Maybe he just wanted to make a scene and/or hurt somebody close.

Even if life sucks, suicide doesn't come to a healthy mind easily... if it does, you got some mental issues. Im disabled and in poverty and will forever be cause the US sucks, but normally I'm not suicidal even if the government would prefer us all dead.

I do agree with that. I don't think it comes to a healthy mind easily. It isn't a choice to be made lightly. I have just known multiple people who have attempted or succeeded, or known people who knew people who did. It is a selfish act, and people (selfishly) get angry about that sometimes when it happens. I wasn't immune to anger, regret, etc, myself.
At the end of the day though, you have to ask yourself if that person's better off in the end. Everybody's got their demons, and sometimes it is just time to let go.

Mmm.. I mean, deranged assumes that there is a legitimate mental issue present in the party’s brain. Suicide is not exclusive to mentally ill individuals, sometimes life just gets really shitty, and sometimes you don’t see a way through it. Not a pessimist, but it’s just a sad reality that some people have actually lost their way to live.
That being said, this guy in the video definitely exhibited signs of mental issues, the woman was screaming something similar to (in Spanish) “Why are you doing this to me?” — So it’s likely that they didn’t even know he had lost his will, or if he had mental issues, that he would go to this extreme.
