Does anyone know when they have a patient like this, do they record the time of death as when the agonal breathing stops altogether, the lack of a heartbeat, or something else?

i did a little research because i was curious myself. there are two types of death: clinical (no heartbeat) and biological (no brain function). from my understanding, in order to experience agonal breathing, there has to be some sort of brain function. according to the video i watched, different countries have different interpretations of complete brain death so i’d assume it’s based on heartbeat.
