Good reason to carry at least a knife when you leave the house. There's about 1 dog for every 2 people in the U.S.

I carry one BECAUSE of this breed in particular.

I personally carry because of humans not animals first, but animals are still secondary. I was involved in a road rage incident where someone almost hit me, less than 2 inches, I was confrontational, but not disrespectful, and still got punched in the face hard enough for a permanent scar, just because the guy who cut me off was having a bad day I guess. My reaction when he hit me was to say "that didn't hurt at all" which really hurt his ego, and he started coming at me with his hand in his pocket, so I floored it, sending him flying over the hood. I was later taken into an interrogation room by the local detectives but they dismissed everything. The guy who assaulted me got a broken arm. Was cleared of all charges. Turns out he was armed, if I didn't send him over the hood I could've ended up a WPD video lol

Lesson to all future road rage victims - don't get out of your car. Lock the doors with the windows up and call 911. Record video of the scumbags. If they see you taking video of them, it will stop some of them from committing (more) violence.

And - if someone was standing beside your driver side door, trying to break the window, turn your steering wheel all the way to the right, and shift into reverse, and when the window breaks, you have legal justification to accellerate hard in reverse - running the attacker over with your left front tire. That should stop the attack that is threatening your life.

That's why you don't be confrontational or look for fights, or provoke people in any way. Many people struggle to control their emotions and react violently to the slightest insult. Bunch of toddlers having a tantrum.

You're completely right though. Looking for a fight will definitely never end well.

I agree. I didn't start the confrontation, after I was assaulted I floored it as I was sitting in my vehicle, I hit his ass and he went over the hood and broke his arm. Detectives showed up at my house a couple days later, and told me to drive to the department, but after an interrogation, they said I was free to go and I didn't get any charges. The guy who assaulted me got arrested, and I hope the arm he broke was the one he punched me in the face with lol
