The victim and his coworkers were unloading corn plants from a truck at the time of the accident.When suddenly his arm got caught and then his whole body fell into the cattle feed cutter.
The video shows Juan De Las Rosas Torre and two other people unloading the corn directly into a machine.
When the tragedy occurred, his companions ran in desperation and turned off the machine, but it was too late, his death was immediate.
His remains are being watched over at his home in Paiján, in the province of Ascope. Family members said that the owners of the stable assumed the funeral expenses of the man who left 8 children orphaned.

You have seen all those people who work in textile factories where they touch the rollers and get sucked and rolled around. They probably have done that before and got away with it so they become cocky and think nothing will happen until it happens as you put your guard down. Same thing with drivers who fall asleep - you know that it is deadly if you fall asleep on the wheel, you feel you are extremely tired, but you have gotten away with it before so you just drive, instead of stop and rest. You're 100% correct. I work as an engineer on one the the two largest freight railroads here in the US, and prior to this, I worked on large CNC milling and lathe equipment. Repetitive nature, losing situational awareness, cutting corners, complacency, finishing up at the end of your day and already two steps ahead instead of staying in the moment, and many more. They all are killers. I watch these industrial videos and I cannot believe what I got away with hundreds of times in my past. Even on the railroad now, we all come to work, day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year and we all forget that we are only one mistake away from leaving this life behind working on very heavy, moving, equipment that will kill you in a split second. It's only when a fellow coworker or union brother loses his life do we quickly remember how unforgiving our jobs can be. So sad to see this guy go out like that. Here 1 second, gone the next. RIP
