I'm so glad his coworkers tried to help him.

Yeah, I feel so sad for the guy, I know there are video like this all over the website, but this one was different, I think the part that got me was how his coworkers held him as he collapsed.

I agree. They seemed all pretty caring and concerned.

Yeah dude this one kinda hit me like made me start teering up. All these are horrible but this one in particular struck a nerve. RIP to that poor kid

Maybe he's not dead, if he did not bled. Sometimes doctors can saw both hands back. But wont get the 100% sensitivity. Still better than no hands.

It is one thing to attach a severed body part that is otherwise intact, but this man's arms were crushed nearly flat. Virtually all the blood vessels, the tendons, joints, etc. are physically destroyed. It is not a matter of not having functioning nerves, he does not have functioning arms, with or without re-attaching. He would need a double-arm donor, if such a thing existed.

I came across this yesterday, so maybe there's hope for a tragic case like this one

First time I've ever seen one of these asian/chinese gore/injury/death videos where people actually helped.

PROBABLY HE WAS IN SHOCK

Jump in the discussion.

No email address required.

I mean, can you blame him? He's unable to do ANYTHING. If he fell to the ground he can't get himself up, let alone work.

I'm glad his coworkers tried to help him in any way they could, and I'm also surprised by how clean that place looks.

They reacted pretty fucking fast.

Jump in the discussion.

Better than in some countries where they don't even make contact to try to help at all. Or they ragdoll them.

Jump in the discussion.

No email address required.

you don't see that kind of damage every day at work, so it's fair they reacted with a little shock. That said, his colleagues reacted pretty fucking quick

Jump in the discussion.

Panic, unless someone lacks the ability to produce adrenaline their bodies dump chemicals to boost energy output and it takes a moment for the brain to adjust.

Jump in the discussion.

Can't imagine you'd be any different

Jump in the discussion.

Pretty sure they were looking for a tourniquet.

Jump in the discussion.

No email address required.

Fight or flight related.

What else could he do?

Jump in the discussion.

No email address required.

At least one knew major arteries were severed and the immediate course of action was a tourniquet.

Fuck, both arms...what a life-changing injury. But FUCK man, the light on the machine is GREEN.

No one should die while working, to me that's the worst possible way to go out (making someone else richer)

Jump in the discussion.

Doesn't working technically make YOU richer? Also, plenty people work for themselves.

I'm surprised he was able to stand for that long. Also you'd think those presses should have a sensor that detects a whole fucking person within the crush zone.

When he left alone some seconds, I felt bad for him, the pain, the angst and fear and shock. He lost his arm . Few seconds felt eternity. Good coworkers.

Jump in the discussion.

That's one of the worse hydraulic press accidents ever. They should consider installing detectors or something but the machine is most likely made in China so.....................

Jump in the discussion.

So why are they using machines made in China? Can't they make it themselves?

All of you suddenly feeling bad for cases like this.

I ALWAYS feel bad for workplace videos. At the end of the day they are/were people just trying to honorably feed themselves and/or their families. Even if you can consider their actions "stupid", it's still an innocent person being a decent citizen getting crippled/killed.

By all means fascinating to watch these videos, but it's always going to be a hard watch regardless of the blood/gore.

Jump in the discussion.

the adrenaline rush is real, the way he just stood there hurts me so badly 🙁

Jump in the discussion.

I'm actually impressed the coworkers knew to apply tourniquets immediately. Most videos I've seen the coworkers stand around like zombies just watching instead of actually trying to do anything.

Jump in the discussion.

At least they tried to help, sure it wasn't the best but anything at that point helps.
