What’s the difference that makes a video to be maiming not gore? I cant tell the difference cause i‘ve seen a lot of videos of people being maimed in the gore flair.

Hmm. Gore is defined as something particularly gruesome -- think extremely bloody, horrifying, etc.
Maiming is permanently disfiguring or damaging someone. I felt that was more appropriate for this video, since if you compare it to my previous videos, it's very tame.
I would think all videos in which the flair is gore, the person has to be maimed, but not all videos of maiming are particularly gory.
That's just my opinion though, and I'm not a moderator.

It’s a mess at the moment from my perspective, maiming is referring to removing a part of the body resulting that part to be permanently damaged and no longer in use, so dismembering without causing death.
but the current rules is as follow:
so according to the rules maiming videos should result in the death of the victim…

Also if a video falls under 2 categories, then which should you pick? Like this for example. Should it be execution, or gore?

that example id say falls under beheading and I’d assume executions with a long ranged weapon falls under executions and for gore I don’t really know except videos that contain gore but doesn’t fall in to other categories…
