My face when I developed sepsis and pneumonia

I was in hospital last year with sepsis and pneumonia. My face swelled up to nearly double its size. Thought you'd like to see it cos it's pretty fucked up. I could hardly blink my left eye, couldn't breathe without oxygen and was in absolute agony.

Didn't die though, so sorry about that

Not trying to shit on your chips pal, but none of us can breathe without oxygen.

Glad you made it though.

"Cunty mc cunt face" If i squint really hard, your left eye looks just lie my ex, so fitting name. Everything reminds me of her.

Oh man. I'm genuinely sorry for your loss.

Apparently it was touch and go. They rang my wife and told her I was close to heart failure and may not make it through the night on my third day. I genuinely don't remember anything of the first week after getting admitted.

It certainly gave me a new found appreciation for life and made me look after myself, eat healthier and lose weight to try and stop it happening again

Thats exactly what happened to my buddy. He suffered heart failure. I feel like he ass ready to go though. He was very sick from being obese for years, and we gave him a wonderful last couple years before he passed. Im glad to see someone beat it though. As someone who survived a hit and run that broke my back and split my head open, I can appreciate your new found love of life.

good on you for dropping weight and hope it didnt have any lasting health issues.

Incorrect. Sepsis has nothing to do with you being overweight. It's usually an infection that reaches your internal organs/blood and a lot of people die from it.
