I stepped on a food processor blade and cut my foot so deep that in the one where you see a hug gaping hole at the top of the cut, you could see my tendon. The round balls that you see close to the surface are fat cells that are the padding on your feet. I hope you enjoy my pics.

Omg it hurt like a mf when he did that. It's slowly healing, just hurts to bear weight on it for extended periods. And when I put too much pressure on it by stooping down for bottom shelf of the fridge, it feels like my sutures are going to pop even tho they don't

yeah tbh it was likely not used initially because the topical agents honestly wouldn't be able to penetrate the skin on the foot so better in most cases like this to deal with the pinch rather than drag it out.
The worst I've ever heard someone yell in a clinic before though was from a PA trying to help a girl with an ingrown toenail, he had to use up a whole bottle of lido across the whole end of the foot just to be able to do the procedure to fix the nailbed because it was so painful from inflammation

I swear, it numbed me up 95% and that's how I was able to look at it better and take the pics and notice it was so deep I could see my goddamn tendon. When he did inject the lidocaine, I only yelled fuck in one spot and it wasssss soooooo fuckinggggggg worthhhhhh ittttttt wtf. I'm telling you my cut was deep af. They put the gel on gauze, taped it on my foot, left me alone for a while, and I was almost
Pain free for the lidocaine injections so it does work deep into the tissues.
