So, this is a Hematoma. They occur when there's an injury to an area which doesn't just cause surface bruising, but which damages the tissues underneath. The results are that a lump grows, containing what is essentially, a large mass of clotted blood (which forms from bleeding within the damaged tissue). The procedure you see here is the Hematoma (on the patient's left buttock, extending into the thigh) being opened and evacuated.

Das ist also ein Hämatom. Es entsteht, wenn eine Verletzung an einer Stelle nicht nur oberflächliche Blutergüsse verursacht, sondern auch das darunterliegende Gewebe schädigt. Dadurch bildet sich ein Knoten, der im Wesentlichen eine große Menge geronnenen Blutes enthält (das durch Blutungen im geschädigten Gewebe entsteht). Bei dem hier gezeigten Eingriff wird das Hämatom (auf der linken Gesäßhälfte des Patienten, das sich bis in den Oberschenkel erstreckt) geöffnet und entfernt.

Correct! Good knowledge right there. The process which causes this is called Catabolism, It's a chemical process which causes the breakdown of Hemoglobin. One of the substances Catabolism produces, is a bile pigment called Biliverdin, which is green.
