Two of my surgery incisions from my appendectomy two days ago. There are sutures in the deeper layers and the top layer is sealed with a glue.

It was a Laparoscopic appendectomy that used a robotic machine and 3 small incisions. I also had a somewhat unqiue appendix as the other end of my appendix was attatched to my pelvis.

That's a new one on me. I've never seen an appendectomy requiring an incision through the umbilicus. Normally it would be a single incision through the right side of the abdomen, between two and up to four inches long... Did you have any other procedure undertaken alongside the appendectomy?

Nope, just the appendectomy. The belly button was used for the camera port. They had to make the incision a little larger than normal so the surgeon could see when they had to detatch the other end of my appendix from my pelvis. It was an abnormal attatchment, the other end of the appendix Is usually not attatched to anything

My gallbladder was laproscopic, hole under my belly button and 3 others
Appendix(laproscopic)was above my belly buton with 2 other holes...
1 open surgery to repair a hernia
Another laproscopic hernia surgery to fix the open one (which broke again) plus 4 more hernias: 1 hole directly into my belly button for umbilical hernia plus 2 other holes... the right broke again so i dont know what they'll use for the 3rd hernia repair lol im so over it.
