How did that arm not turn black yet?

Not an expert, but I believe in order to turn black there has to be some connection to the other systems in the body, In other words if only blood is not reaching a part of the body, but there are other working processes there, like nerves, some still living cells inside, the process would probably turn into black. Here we have complete destruction which boggles my mind how this happened and why she still has hand at all. In this case, the arm would decompose like a normal corpse would. Who knows, maybe she provides some car to it - wash it, use balm on it to preserve it.. weird stuff
