I really like watching old footage like this. They're very interesting to watch, especially to see the different views and understanding of those in the past

I also find it very interesting, I think that time is very deep compared to the current one. :onerat:

Gold. Thanks for this. There's one more in here where a little kid has rabies. Sad video these 2 but educational.

yeah man it's scary. once you start showing symptoms, there's almost no chance of survival. It also gives you hydrophobia which blew my mind.

Yea. I came to know about the hydrophobia part from another video in here. Recently a girl died due to rabies in a neighboring state in my country. Rabies has 100% fatality I guess. No cure (open to be corrected).

Once a rabies infection is established, there's no effective treatment. Though a small number of people have survived rabies, the disease usually causes death. For that reason, if you think you've been exposed to rabies, you must get a series of shots to prevent the infection from taking hold- stolen from Google first page

A girl named Jeanna Geise survived after symptom onset with what’s known as the Milwaukee Protocol. You can read about it here.

There was a lot of rehab work to be done post-recovery because of the neurological damage.

iirc it can be treated before it reaches the brain.. so where you're bit plays a role. I could google it but I'm lazy haha!
