It’s most likely an intercerebral hemorrhage , it’s a type of stroke , as you can see in the CT imaging , the Area is whitish , which indicate an active bleeding , and the extracted material is Blood clots .
This can be caused following a ruptured berry aneurysm , head trauma or a drug overdose .
Fascinating Burrhole Surgery by those doctors , Amazing .

The drill bits they use are one use drill bits specifically for drilling through the skull. It’s two parts. the central core bit is spring loaded so as you apply pressure the outer cutting bit cuts the skull but as soon as the pressure on the center bit is relieved (AKA breakthrough) it stops the outer cutting bit and it just freely spins.
