In all seriousness, the rule is 60 days unless it's a famous video, and people DO get shamed if they reposted really soon after the first one. Also a lot of people aren't aware if they're making a repost, from the look of it - a lot of gore videos aren't typically MAINSTREAM.
To each their own though, ig? Fair enough to dislike reposts.

i do remember and i understand stand that they arent like well known to absolutely everyone... but they could have a look through the sites history... i just like the idea of fresh content being posted and not like just walls of slop.. looks better for us as whole... and btw just so you go forward in this conversation on the same page as me.. im not trying to be rude so i expect the same out of you.

Fair enough, sorry if I came off as rude. I do see what you mean, honestly. There are some reposts within like a week of the OG and that's not cool. Beyond that, though, I don't see much of a point in shaming outside of just reporting and moving on, you know?

Seeing reposts enraged me for a bit because I was on here so often, but I realized now there is just going to be some people who don't know what's been posted, or don't care to check.
It's still really annoying, and for some videos it happens a few times a week. That's honestly why I leave the posting up to everyone else.

I do think reposts are annoying, but some ‘reposts' I haven't even seen before. I do believe people need to actually search the site before uploading though, but after 60 days there isn't really a problem, especially since we are constantly getting new members who possibly haven't seen the video before. I will admit sometimes from personal experience, even when I search sometimes it slips through and I am still not aware it's a repost because it doesn't pop up in my search, this is sometimes because the title varies depending on the poster, sometimes it just doesn't pop up, etc.
