Anyone else miss the "Videos Require Someone Dying" rule?

I’ve mentioned this before. All the music and shit is dumb but you’ll get told the same thing I was. Turn off the stuff you don’t like so you’ll only see the gore. I guess it’s a good answer but it doesn’t change the fact it’s now Watch People Die and stuff..

As an OG member (User # 1589) all you new peeps are doing a whole lot of complaining and not a lot of posting death videos. Seems like another case of "Why isn't this website catering to ME!?"

Not really. I treat this site as Reddit without woke mods.

The owner of this site has made different sections for us to participate in, as well as given us the ability to block those sections if we don't want to participate. You have the tools to block sections, filter out posts with any word you desire, and yet you people outright refuse to help yourselves.

Sometimes I do miss that type of rule, but when that rule was here there wasn’t enough content and it was shit I’ve seen before

I don't miss it, because it would mean that non-lethal torture would be excluded right away. And that's why some users are here (as the main reason, or one of few reasons).

I kinda do miss it but it brings out those thoughts of "dam how is he still alive?!!"

Complaining about this is silly. If you just blocked the Social, Discussion, Music, Fights, and Self-Harm flairs, your problem is solved- you will only see content that shows people dying or being BADLY wounded.

You choose your content on this site. It's been designed so that you can block the shit you don't want to see, and you'll never see it again.

That's still a rule .. on any flair besides Social, Discussion, Fights, Meta, etc.

Yes. I like all the new flairs except fights. I’m tired of scrolling past 10 fights just to get to one decent gore vid

Why does it bother you? Off topic stuff keeps it fun, and you don’t have to see it. That keeps more people here and posting rather than only posting when they can find gore that hasn’t been reposted. This is the only gore site I go to, so I don’t have a valuable content to post. I post pure shit, and some people like it and some don’t. But that’s why I post on social. That keeps more people here and active, more people willing to value that community aspect here. I have fun here. I don’t understand the strictly business part. Care to explain why it bothers you? Genuinely curious.

The only things that annoy me are the music posts and the pet pictures.

Nothing is perfect, if you don’t wanna see a picture of a cat then don’t click on it (I agree with the music), I don’t post shit here but I enjoy the content and I think just make a random shit section for those who want to post whatever

It wasn’t always followed tho. There were always videos of no death.

Animal and Beating are being flooded by videos without death in the last weeks. When I notice it, i report. But sometimes the mods just delete my report and keep the video in the flair.
