Can we do something about the trolls posting trash on the wrong flairs? Maybe a minimum account age and prior activity requirements?

I doubt it would happen, as long as it's not spam with CSAM or animal gore or zoophilia. If flooding site with that type of content happened, I guess we would FINALLY have enough mods and enough e.g. that account requiremenets you mention
I'm not the only one with this opinion, we'd love to see it happening before, though.

I have already tried writing a discussion about this. I was really sick of all the war videos that I thought should be in combat but they were listed under stabbed in the person IN COMBAT was stabbed. I reported so many posts to the point where people would get pissed at me and wrote on my wall. Admin never did anything to address the issue. It just seemed like they didn't care at all or like they were buddies with whoever was posting all the combat videos.

There are just few mods who're more active, and partially there's a timezone overlap. No ill will here, and problems relating to the flairs are just separate.
