Like stated above. Tor is the only way past many firewall and proxies for many people. Helps keep the freedom of speech and access to information alive. Can help people contribute to the site whom would normally be persucuted. Plus many other valid reasons. Im not saying get rid of cloudflare. But the community should understand seeing how much of a struggle its been over the last few years.

Its more for principle than security in my case.
But the more people who use tor the safer and more effective it is for those who need to use it such as journalist in a restrictive country or someone just trying to access the free world from behind a governments firewall. And a vpn doesn't really solve anything just makes it so someone else is looking at your traffic rather than isp.
Dont get me wrong they work and i support them. But they dont route and re route through different servers, in different countries with different hosts names and ips.

I know the gov is running poisoned nodes and honeypots, and probably 100 other things. If was really concerned I would just run Tails on an cheap eBay laptop using coffee shop WIFI in a different city then just throw the laptop way. I think wpd having a .onion address would be awesome, but I know it wont happen.
