Personally i enjoy musicfestivals a lot. Most times i visit it's in the rock/metal genre but also some mainstream.
Since i live in Europe some examples would be Graspop, Rock Werchter. Sziget and Exit festival and many more.
I would be interested to hear any recommendations, preferably the less commercial/big ones to check out in the future!
