Kabaddi player dies of heart attack (at 0:37)

In a shocking turn of events, a 20-year-old college student died while participating in a Kabaddi event on Thursday in Mumbai's Malad. The student's body was taken by Malad police and taken to Shatabdi hospital for an autopsy. While there is no clarification regarding the cause of death, reports say that the deceased suffered a heart attack.

According to the information received, the Kabaddi tournament was organized in the Love Garden of Municipal Corporation in Malad West through Mittal College on Thursday. Karthik was playing when a Kabaddi match was going on between Akash College vs Mittal College. He went to touch an opposite team player across the deadline against Akash College when he was caught by the opposition.

Reportedly, Kirthik was walking outside the boundary line after getting out, when he suddenly collapsed. Players from both teams tried to bring Kirthik back to his senses, but he remained unconscious.

The deceased was immediately taken to the hospital but was declared dead by the doctors.
