Guy had a seizure and died on spot when smoking synthetic marijuana

K2, also known as synthetic marijuana, Spice, or fake weed, is a designer drug created to mimic the effects of THC, the active ingredient in natural marijuana. However, it is much more potent and carries significant health risks

K2 can cause extreme anxiety, paranoia, hallucinations, and psychotic episodes.

Users may experience rapid heart rate, vomiting, violent behavior, suicidal thoughts, and seizures.

The chemical composition of K2 can vary greatly from batch to batch, making it difficult to predict its effects. and its often contaminated with harmful substances that can exacerbate its toxicity. Long-term use can lead to memory problems and cognitive deficits, prolonged use can result in kidney damage, liver damage, and other organ failures.

Possession, sale, and use of K2 are illegal in many places, leading to potential legal consequences

More specifically, these are the JWH series of chemicals, where over 200 different flavors compounds can be found.

The guy who invented them, initials JWH, was pretty sad when he realized that these substances got out into the streets. They were invented to test on lab cells, never on a living human being, where most of them can be fatal at very low doses.

His languish was our ticket to a joyride.

JWH-018 was the only safe one. It was called Peter Pan on the streets. Fuck only knows which flavor compound any of us kids were doing when we got it from gas stations, sprayed on potpourri.

And those stoned fucks here were just sitting there, doing absolutely nothing except watching their friend drown in his own vomit.

This happens a lot, by the way. If you overdose with a group of fucked up friends, there are heavy odds stacked against your survival.

from the looks of it they were all kids, they prob had no clue about that vomit rule. But u are right, "friends" can be shitty just because.

I admire you for your choice in career. I still might do that kind of work in my future, if ever I find a big-enough roadblock down my current path.

Just an interest. Morbid curiosity as a teen, then some undergrad studies to be a biological psychologist.

I've since decided that I need to be working with my hands and my whole body, not just with my face and mind.

I will still always have a love for organic chemistry. Shit is just way too magical to be real, yet there it is.
