Today, approximately 5am my rat passed away.
He had been struggling for a while, i first noticed this last month when his walking mobility wasnt very good, but it wasnt until last night he couldnt even open his eyes and couldnt even get up or walk, i tried my best to keep him hydrated and fed, i also give him liquid paracetamol i read that you can give it them to ease the pain while dying.
He was struggling all night and i found him at 7:30 am today (time in my country).
i made him a comfy little resting bed and thats where he died :(
this was last night before i put him back in his cage, he couldnt move or anything.
Also, my rats are also nearly 3 years of age, which these rats only live 2-3 years.

his brother took care of him through the night, now i will be his brothers companionship for a while

Rip Cheese. I know how much you loved this lil guy. You gave him a long and happy life filled with love and care. Losing pets is one of the hardest experiences to go through in life. He lived out his full lifespan happily. You did such an amazing job caring for him. You're the best rat mom ever. Hope you're holding up okay Stick 💜
