I have watched that video as many times as I could tolerate. Those cops went into the situation looking to kill. The dude was wearing gym shorts. He didn't "keep acting like he was pulling a gun", he was crawling on his hands and knees as best he could in his drunken stupor. His knee caught the shorts, he automatically went to pull them up, and was shot 5 times if I remember correctly. Brailsford had "you're Fucked" engraved on his dust cover. They said "if you make a mistake, you're going to die".
They went in itching for a gunfight, and they murdered that man. Cut and dried.
