There are so many times cops try pulling someone over for a broken taillight headlight, and they take off. Most of the time all you get is a warning or a "fix it" ticket if you pull over. Nope, they just run. And this is the result of a lot of those situations. Maybe not the same in this case but still, just take your ticket and leave if that's the case.
