Does anyone have any archived footage from the Vietnam War or WW2? I'm an avid history nerd, and have seen every documentary I can get my hands on. I know there are hundreds of hours worth of footage out there that isn't in any of those documentaries, and the overwhelming majority of it is extremely tame compared to our standards (with a few exceptions such as My Lai, or the Vietnamese man executed in front of journalist cameras). I've always wanted to see those wars for what they really were, not just the politicized television versions. If anyone has anything related to either conflict, I would be BEYOND grateful, thank you.

In addition: I think holocaust footage may be a good addition here. It is becoming increasingly forgotten with every year that goes by. There is footage readily available even in places like Netflix, which can be absolutely gut wrenching, but some people here may not know anything about it. As much as I've seen it all, every time, it makes most of the cartel related footage here seem like child's play, at least to me. I just feel some people who may have never ventured on that side of history would appreciate seeing such things. And considering we're here to "WatchPeopleDie", footage such as that would at least be pretty educational for everyone here; at least compared to some of the glorified narco trash beheading people with rusty butter knives that we see over and over again. Considering it's almost memorial day also; may be a nice theme for this weekend. Stay safe out there everyone!

You have intrigued my curiosity. I think I may watch the documentary of Netflix and just research it a little bit. I think you are right that we are forgetting the holocaust more and more every year, especially since everyone is so focused on BLM and preventing mass shooters. Apparently those seem like the worst things to ever exist in humanity, but a quick run through memory lane might correct my assumptions

I've stumbled across that one before myself, but I imagine plenty of people haven't. Thank you for sharing! One of my passions is teaching people what I know about those time periods, and it didn't dawn on me until today that this might be a good place to get some nice discussions going.
