How do the veins heal? There's a lot of scars, seems like circulation in the skin would be cut off towards the hands. Would the deeper veins be enough to supply the skin?

I'm not sure, this person will definitely have nerve damage and limited range of motion, I think the veins are probably lower on the priority list of damage she's doing to herself.
