↑ scar is no longer hard and painful. pic was taken a few days ago.

This one was easily one of the most painful cuts i've done. healing was a huge pain too, inconvenient spot so the bandages kept sliding. during the early stages of scar healing, when i would get cold, these would tighten and if i bent to the side it would be so tight..not so much the case anymore thankfully


I'm aware that these aren't perfect, i never expected them to be. It's hard to do on yourself without proper tools and skill.

These were for art purposes, not self harm. It is in the self harm category bc it fits best here.

Curious why you did not see a professional to help with this, when done correctly scarification can be really interesting. Good on you for not sharing tips on what you used etc.

i am in therapy and on several medications. I'm working on my habits but it only helps so much and i only want to accept so much treatment ygm

Yes I do get what you mean (therapy is hard and has to be if you want it to work unfortunately, brain and habit changes are such difficult things to shift) but I was asking why you did not get a professional to do your picture scars as you obviously had a plan/vision of what they should look like. Miscommunication whoopsie lol.
