How are you anorexic though if you're able to distinguish this as being “too skinny”? Most anorexic people seem to not have the ability to do that, actually seems to be an essential component of the disorder.

They have a body image issue. If you show them a picture of another anorexic, or even if themself, they can see that the person is extremely unhealthy. For some reason they can't see it when they look at themself directly.

Interesting, thanks. It's a little confusing then as to why some anorexic people gravitate towards “thinspo” if that's the case.
