stop the bleeding, wash it, disinfect it and cover it but also let it breathe (keep the bandage a few hours, remove it a few hours too and so on) you can also apply an healing cream on the wound until it's fully healed (bandage on)

I just wanted to say that you shouldn't "let cuts breathe". Look it up if you want; drying the cut slows healing. But otherwise, that person had really good advice!

keep an eye on the wound to make sure it doesn't turn out weird (watch out for infections)

not necessarily but in this case maybe be more careful to not touch it too often and stuff like that, the cover protects it from bacteria to come in, if you apply cream, it will heal faster and depending on what cream you use it may disinfect it too, if you don't use that kind of cream you may want to disinfect it or wash it a few times when it's healing, also when you don't cover it, you should wash/disinfect it more often
