First of all, thats not even my arm. Second, no you dont. Cuts like that and especially the resulting scars are anything but desirable.

Can’t forget the risk of infection, with that many open wounds, an infection would most likely lead to amputation.

Not necessarily. If the cut is not extremely deep and you take somewhat good it the risk for an infection is rather small. Its nonetheless a very stupid idea to cut yourself.
