naah, i love playing as geralt/ciri, i love to like role play him when i play this game, and i really like when game follows the book's lore a little bit bc i read them and they're really good, so without this references it would be worse, also u could not notice it but as a polish person there are so much fucking references for our culture and that is so nostalgic and entertaining i cant even imagine it without it. i love also these silly little easter eggs cd projekt red make, i also noticed in other usa/japanese games and got many references, but bc its so familiar to me its so much diffrent. so yes, i couldnt imagine my own character in witcher, i love playing as geralt, i love his jokes, i love him being a cute old degenerate but also a hero mf so it would be so weird without him or with him as a npc.(ty that u asked, im glad to give u my answer to this question) but tbh if we could customize geralt it would be more fun! i even have the new hairstyles dlc but its still boring, so if we could change geralts maybe body/face scars, make him get tattoes/piercing, change hairstyle and beard, maybe add some blush on him or no?? EVEN CUSTOMIZE HIS WITCHER CLOTHES IT WOULD BE AWESOME
