A woman was affected by gunshot wounds while she was inside a pharmacy in the Nueva Prosperina sector, in the northwest of Guayaquil.
It was learned that around midnight on Friday the 20th, a person fired several shots at the pharmacy facilities.
As a result of that, the citizen, who would be the owner of the business, was injured and was taken to a health home in the Monte Sinai sector.
At the site, minutes later her death was confirmed, so members of several investigative units went to the site to remove the body and collect more elements that would clarify the fact.
It was learned that in the area, including this business, extortion threats such as “vaccines” had been made. For now, the investigations continue to find the attacker and, if applicable, her accomplice.
